Charles Aznavour once again wins Milan and Venice

French legend Charles Aznavour performed open-air concerts in front of Milan's Cathedral and at St. Mark’s Square in Venice.

The concert in Milan was dedicated to the event on awarding the Grande Milano prize to Italy's Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi. The proceeds from tickets sale will be directed for restoration of the cathedral.

Meanwhile, the concert in Venice started with an awkward situation: initially, the wet and hot weather caused problems with microphones. “Well, we will repeat the introduction,” said Aznavour and went on performing his hits for two hours at St. Mark’s Square. The concert concluded with a thunderous ovation, ITAR-TASS reported.
