Armenian Sambo Federation president Levon Hayrapetyan addressed a letter of condolences to his Azeri counterpart Jeyhun Mamedov on the death of 16-year-old Azeri sambo wrestler.

Mikhail Orujiyev drowned in a lake of Dmanisi Georgian region hosting Georgia-Azerbaijan Friendship Days.

“Armenian Sambo Federation condoles with the family, friends of Mikhail, as well as sportsmen and coaches of Azeri Sambo Federation,” the letter stated.
