  NKR President, RA Defense Minister discuss increase in fighting capacity of two Armenian states’ armed forces August 17, 2010 - 12:39 AMTPanARMENIAN.Net - On August 16, NKR President Bako Sahakyan met RA Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan in Stepanakert. Artsakh Republic Defense Minister Movses Hakobyan partook at the meeting. A wide range of army building- related issues was discussed during the meeting. The parties characterized consistent increase in fighting capacity of the two Armenian states’ armed forces as well as strengthening cooperation in this particular sphere as key preconditions to regional stability, Central Information Department of NKR President’s office reported.   Top stories Authorities said a total of 192 Azerbaijani troops were killed and 511 were wounded during Azerbaijan’s offensive. In 2023, the Azerbaijani government will increase the country’s defense budget by more than 1.1 billion manats ($650 million).
