Armenian and Russian Presidents will attend the opening ceremony of Hill of Honor in Gyumri on August 20, at the burial site of 156 Russian soldiers who were killed in Russian-Turkish wars during the 19th century.

The idea to reconstruct the memorial belongs to Russian Ambassador to Armenia Vyacheslav Kovalenko. The project implemented with assistance of Ulyanovsk region of the Russian Federation is coordinated by a working group headed by Andranik Nikoghosyan, President of All-Armenian International Youth Center.
