Conclusion of Armenia-Russia agreements is on Dmitry Medvedevs’ visit agenda

Implementation of major Russian investment projects in Armenia will be discussed during Dmitry Medvedev’s visit.

Conclusion of a number of Armenia-Russia agreements are also on Dmitry Medvedevs’ visit agenda.

A contract on construction of nuclear power plant on the territory of Armenia will be concluded, Memorandum of Understanding between RA and RF Defense Ministries signed, as well as the Protocol on extension of Russian military base deployment in Armenia, among priority agreements.

Discussions on Karabakh issue and main principles of conflict settlement are scheduled.

Armenia and Russia has been actively cooperating in the sphere of economy, with a number of Russian companies successfully operating in RA. Since 1991, Russian investments into Armenian economy have grossed USD 2,4 billion. Main investment spheres are energy, banking, telecommunications, mining and construction.
