Scientific center of Armenian studies to be established in Baku State UniversityAugust 24, 2010 - 18:32 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Head of the Press and Information Department of Baku State University Parvana Ibragimova said that a Scientific Center of Armenian studies will be established in the University soon. “The center will deal with study of historical and modern problems of the Armenian Cause and raising the Azerbaijani people’s awareness of public and political processes in Armenia. Creation of the center will allow eliminating the lacunas in our society,” noted Ibragimova. According to her, it is planned to bring together researches, who know Armenian language, to develop a common concept to follow it later. “The center will be systematizing materials of the Armenian-language press, websites and television to prepare analytical works based on this systematization. A separate website will be created for the center, as well as a scientific journal will be published. All scientific researches and articles on this issue will be translated to various languages, placed on the website and disseminated,” said Ibragimova, Trend News reported.
