Ruben Arevshatyan: Armenia’s past, present and future will be represented at 54th Venice Biennale

Director of the Armenian pavilion, art critic Ruben Arevshatyan said that Armenia will be represented by an unusual project at the 54th International Art Exhibition of the Venice Biennale.

“The project is still in process of development. It reflects Armenia's past, present and future,” Arevshatyan told a press conference in Yerevan.

According to him, they will make an attempt to present Armenia's modern art as part of the global art.

The 54th Venice Biennale, a major contemporary art exhibition, will be held from June 4 to November 27, 2011, under Universes in Universe motto. Armenia has been participating in the Venice Biennale since its establishment in 1995.
