As reported by "Arka" agency, payment by minute applies to all telephones, connected to digital telephone stations in Yerevan, Stepanavan and Gumri. Works to instal new digital stations are held in Yerevan, Vanadzor, Spitak, Yeghegnadzor, Echmiadzin, Ashtarak. The works are expected to be completed towards this year's end. At the initial stage the tariff will make 4 drams per minute. Its further increase will be implemented step-by-step. At the same time 120 minutes free talk per month will be given to private users. Let us note that September 1 was tentatively fixed "ArmenTel" shareholders meeting. But due to executive director of the company Nikos Georgulas's absence from Yerevan, who at present holds negotiations with "OTE" Greek Telecommunication Company, which is holder of 90% shares of "ArmenTel", the meeting did not take place.
