The official Baku perceived the position of Turkey in connection with the latest events at the Caspian and Iranian-Azerbaijani relations with satisfaction. Chief of the Department of Foreign Policy of the Executive Machinery of the President of Azerbaijan Novruz Mamedov reported this to CNA agency. Let us remind that in a verbal note, presented to the Ambassador of Iran to Turkey Husseyn Lavasani, Ankara stated in harsh expressions, that in case of further escalation of the situation at the Caspian it would support Azerbaijan.
