ARMENIA AND RUSSIA WILL SIGN A CONCEPT OF COMMERCIAL-ECONOMIC COOPERATION
In course of Vladimir Putin's visit to Yerevan in September 2001, the concept of commercial-economic cooperation between Armenia and Russia for the forthcoming ten years will be signed. This document will form the basis for the program of long-term partnership. Temporary Attorney of Russia in Armenia Sergey Kapinos stated this in an interview to "Golos Armenii" newspaper. In his words, a number of conventions, particularly "On encouragement and mutual protection of investments", "On cooperation in the field of tourism", "On cooperation between the subjects of the Russian Federation and the regions of Armenia", will be signed.
S.Kapinos noted that the project of creating a joint enterprise envisaged using the state debt of Armenia to Russia for forming the collective investment fund. Let us remind that in May 2001 the debt of Armenia to Russia made 114 million dollars.
