Karo Murat going to exploit his rival’s weaknesses in the ring

Unbeaten cruiserweight Alexander Frenkel (22-0, 17 KOs) faced off with European champion Enzo Maccarinelli and unbeaten light heavyweight Karo Murat (22-0, 13 KOs) toed the line with Nathan Cleverly in advance of their WBO Eliminator at the press conference in advance of Saturday’s Magnificent Seven show at the LG Arena in Birmingham, fightnews.com reported.

“Alexander and Karo have got what it takes to be successful in the lion’s den on Saturday night,” Hall-of-Fame-Promoter Wilfried Sauerland said. “It will not be easy but I am confident they will leave the ring victorious.”

“Maccarinelli is a former world champion and a good puncher, but he has a rather weak chin. Knowing Alexander’s power and his boxing skills, I think he will stop Maccarinelli after seven or eight rounds. Cleverly is a good young man with a good record but Karo has fought much tougher opponents than he has. Karo is more experienced and that will make the difference on Saturday night. I expect Karo to clinch a points victory.”

Murat stated, “I have analyzed my opponent carefully. I will exploit his weaknesses in the ring. I will let my fists do the talking on Saturday.”

Frenkel is also confident of success. “It is an honor to fight in Birmingham and we will put on a great bout,” he stated. “Everything can happen in boxing. I am prepared for 12 hard rounds.”
