  THE DUDUK FESTIVAL STARTED IN GYUMRIAugust 7, 2001 - 00:10 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The festival that started yesterday in Gyumry today continues in Yerevan. It is dedicated to the celebration of 1700 anniversary of the Christianity adoption in Armenia. 300 musicians from over 10 countries performed in the second city of the country. The concert that should have taken 4 hours took 6 hours. Jovan Gasparyan, Georgy Minasov, Sergey Karapetyan, jazz bends and folk ensembles were among the performers. The musicians from the US, Russia, France, Italy arrived in Armenia in order to participate in the festival. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
