  QUESTIONS BETWEEN TBILISY AND BAKU REGARDING THE GAS PIPELINE HAVE BEEN SOLVEDAugust 6, 2001 - 22:28 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - "The draft of the contract regarding the Baku-Tbilisy-Erzrum gas pipeline is ready for signing", has stated Georgia's president Eduard Shevardnadze. During his interview, the head of Georgia has stated that in August he will visit Baku, where he and Azerbaijan's president will sign the document. As "Prime-News" agency informs, according to Shevardnadze, all the aspects of the draft of the agreement are agreed. As it is known, Shevardnadze should have visited Baku last week. But Georgia's head unexpectedly postponed his visit. According to information of several agencies, the real refusal of the visit was not the murder of the popular journalist but the questions regarding the payment amount for the passing of gas through Georgia's territory.
