On September 22, 2010, Yerevan hosted a meeting between Armenia-Georgia interdepartmental working groups in charge of border management strategy. The meeting was organized in the framework of Complex Border Management in South Caucasus program coordinated by Armenian National Security Council.

The EU-financed program aims at promotion of cooperation between South Caucasus countries as well as with EU member states and international organizations.

Armenian National Security Council Secretary Arthur Baghdasaryan, Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia Arman Kirakossian, UNDP Deputy Resident Representative Dirk Boberg, Head of the European Union Delegation to Armenia, Ambassador Raul de Luzenberger and well as high ranking governmental officials from Armenia and Georgia participated in the meeting.
