The more young specialists do their internship in Bundestag, the better Armenia's parliament will work in future

On September 23, Chairperson of the RA NA Standing Committee on European Integration Affairs Naira Zohrabyan met with member of Bundestag Maria Flachsbarth, Professor of Berlin Institute of Technology Frank Behrendt and head of Information and Public Relations Department of Bundestag Gerhard Rakenius.

Implementation of the International Parliamentary Scholarship (IPS) program was in the focus of the meeting. The program is foreseen for young specialists with higher education from Eastern Europe, Russia and the U.S.

Naira Zohrabyan attached importance to intensification of political ties between the two countries parliaments, what in its turn will contribute to boosting cooperation between the countries.

Zohrabyan offered to increase the number of Armenian scholars included in the program, as skills, knowledge and experience gained in Bundestag will increase the work efficiency of the Armenian parliament in future. Naira Zohrabyan noted that she will submit all suggestions concerning the program to the Speaker of the Armenian parliament, the RA NA press service reported.
