Armen Jigarkhanyan celebrates 75th birthdayOctober 3, 2010 - 14:48 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Renowned actor Armen Jigarkhanyan celebrates his 75th birthday on October 3. The actor entered the Guinness World Records for the great number of roles he played in films. Born in 1935, Jigarkhanyan is one of the most popular Armenian actors living and working in Russia. He started the career of an actor in 1955, at the Russian Stanislavsky Theater in Yerevan, and moved to the Lenkom Theatre in Moscow in 1967. In 1969, he joined the Mayakovsky Academic Theater. Jigarkhanyan starred in more than 300 films. Presently, he is the head of the Moscow Drama Theater.
