Armenia’s gross international reserves totaled $1839.7mln in August 2010 that is $163.71mln or 8.2% lower as compared with the beginning of the year.

Meanwhile, Armenia’s external assets totaled $1797.8mln during the reporting period that is $49.5mln or 2.8% lower as compared with the beginning of the year, according to the Central bank of Armenia.

Besides, the special drawing rights (SDR) in the International Monetary Fund decreased by 66.4% by the end of August 2010 as compared with the beginning of the second quarter, amounting to $41.9mln.
