As per the RA Law on Accounting, large companies with proceeds above AMD 1bln in 2009 should undergo a compulsory audit and publish their financial reports.

As a result of studies by the RA Ministry of Finance, it was found out that a range of enterprises, including Armenia’s large taxpayers – Mikmetal, Gor Petrol Service, Arsoil, etc – have not undergone an audit and have not published their financial reports, the Ministry’s press service reported.

Works on clarification of the list of negligent companies are still under way.
