Diaspora dislikes Armenian TV programs

Diaspora representatives form an idea of the cultural and political life in Armenia based on satellite-broadcast TV programs; unfortunately, they dislike the majority of Armenian programs they see, the editor of Orer (Days) Prague-based magazine Hakob Asatryan stated.

At a news conference in Yerevan, Asatryan also pointed out the lack of children’s programs that would enable learning the Armenian language.

The editor-in-chief of Asbarez Daily Newspaper (Los Angeles), Abo Poghikian noted that many of the newspaper readers have never been in Armenia, urging the print media to take best efforts not to repulse Diaspora Armenians from their native land.
