Ararat TV channel participates in 47th International Television Festival Golden PragueOctober 22, 2010 - 15:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On October 16-20, Prague hosted the 47th International Television Festival Golden Prague. In collaboration with the Armenian embassy in the Czech Republic and Public TV, Armenia was represented in the festival for the first time by Ararat cultural TV channel, the RA MFA press service reported. Armenian businessman Gevorg Avetisyan, who resides in the Czech Republic, has shouldered the financial matters. In an interview to the Czech Public TV (CT), the organizer of the festival, Armenian Ambassador to the Czech Republic Ashot Hovakimyan said that the participation of Ararat TV channel in the festival will allow the Czech audience to raise its awareness of the Armenian culture. On October 17, Ararat TV channel presented a film on the TV channel programs to the festival. The film was also aired by the Czech Public TV.
