THE TURKIC LANGUAGE SPEAKING RESIDENTS OF THE IRAN HAVE HELD A MASS PROTEST ACTION AGAINST TEHERAN POLICY
. In the town of Kyalber of Iranian Azerbaijan province, which is mainly populated by the Turkic language speaking people, a mass action dedicated to Babek national hero birthday took place. According to the information of "Turan" Azerbaijanian information agency, Iran's authorities tried to hinder the meeting directed against Teheran policy towards the Turkic language speaking residents of the northern provinces of the country.
The source informs that, while returning from the pilgrimage, which they made to Babek's motherland, the participants of the action walked to Tabriz, where they had a meeting with informal leader of the Turkic language speaking Iranians, professor Chekhragani, who was not allowed to take part in the meeting.
