Oleg Yesayan discusses upcoming meeting of Armenian, Russian and Azerbaijani Presidents in Astrakhan

PanARMENIAN.Net - On October 26, Armenian Ambassador to Russia Oleg Yesayan met with Governor of Astrakhan region Alexander Zhilkin on the eve of the meeting among the Russian, Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents in Astrakhan.

The Governor briefed the guest on the region’s cooperation with Armenia, referring to Armenians’ role in the development of Astrakhan region. “Due to patronage and favorable attitude of the authorities, Armenians have multiplied their capital and contributed significantly to Astrakhan region’s prosperity,” said the Governor.

Oleg Yesayan noted for his part that it is among his first visits to Russia’s regions.

The upcoming trilateral meeting among the Russian, Armenian and Azerbaijani Presidents and intensification of cooperation between the two countries’ regions were in the focus of the meeting, the RA governmental press service reported.
