Canadian parliament speaker invites Hovik Abrahamyan to pay a visit to Canada

PanARMENIAN.Net - On October 29, Chairman of the RA National Assembly Hovik Abrahamyan received a Canadian delegation led by Mayor of Montreal (Canada) Gerald Tremblay.

Yerevan Mayor Gagik Beglaryan also participated in the meeting.

Mr. Abrahamyan attached importance to boosting relations with Canada, intensification of inter-parliamentary relations and expressed willingness to facilitate the bilateral cooperation.

The Mayor of Montreal also stressed the importance of intensification of bilateral ties, development of cultural and religious tourism, economic collaboration, what can considerably promote the friendly relations. Besides, Gerald Tremblay conveyed to Hovik Abrahamyan an official invitation of the Speaker of the Canadian parliament to pay a visit to Canada, the RA NA press service reported.
