Armenian parliamentary speaker meets with the members of European Parliament

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian parliamentary speaker Hovik Abrahamyan met with the members of European Parliament currently on a visit to Yerevan.

Abrahamyan emphasized the importance of EP members’ visit in gaining unbiased information on Armenia and Karabakh.

Armenian parliamentary speaker stressed Armenia’s determination to achieve Karabakh conflict settlement in OSCE MG framework, at the same time expressing concern over Azeri violations of ceasefire resulting in multiple deaths and preventing establishment of regional stability.

As he noted, international community has so far failed to give adequate assessment to Azeri actions.

EP members, in turn, emphasized the importance of their visit, giving them a better idea of regional situation. The MP characterized the attempts to isolate Armenia from regional projects, preventing integrated development of the region, as unacceptable, parliamentary press service reported.
