Representatives of AFF to leave for Voronezh to watch a friendly between Russia and Belgium

PanARMENIAN.Net - Representatives of the Armenian Football Federation (AFF) will leave for Voronezh to watch a friendly between Russia and Belgium due November 17.

“We attentively follow all our rivals in the EURO-2012 qualification group, and Russia is not exclusion,” sport-express.ru quoted AFF President Ruben Hayrapetyan as saying.

Hayrapetyan also referred to the two matches between Armenia and Russia, with the first one to be held in Armenia on March 26. “I do not see any difference as to where we will start,” he said, adding that the Russian Football Union made a wise offer, which was accepted by the Armenian side.

“In Russia, it is still cold in March, and it would not be correct to play there with near-empty stadium. Eventually, football is for audience, while the weather is warm in Armenia in March,” he said.
