Armenian Embassy in Greece received 'suspicious' mail

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Embassy in Greece, like the other countries' diplomatic posts, received mails arousing concern of the security guards.

“Police officers, who arrived at the site, examined the packages which proved to be harmless,” Armenian Foreign Ministry spokesman Tigran Balayan said.

In Athens, a spate of mail bombs exploded outside of foreign Embassies, while suspicious packages headed to France's President Nicholas Sarkozy and German Chancellor Angela Merkel were seized during the past week.
