Armenia, India to expand decentralized cooperation

On November 12, within the framework of his official visit to India, Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian visited Calcutta.

The Minister met with West Bengal governor Mayankote Kelath Narayanan. During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of expansion of decentralized cooperation between Armenia and India, as well as cooperation perspectives of West Bengal with one of the Armenian regions.

A visit to Calcutta Armenian school and a monastery founded by Mother Theresa were also on Foreign Minister’s agenda, ministerial press service reported.
