7.6% growth recorded in average monthly salary in Armenia in January-October 2010November 19, 2010 - 20:06 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - According to updated statistical data, the average monthly salary totaled AMD 106,204 in Armenia in January-October 2010 that is 7.6% higher as compared with the same period of 2009. As the RA National Statistical Service reported, 1.8% increase was observed in October compared to September 2010. Meanwhile, 4.1% and 8.5% growth was recorded in salaries of budgetary and private organizations, totaling AMD 85,289 and 133,312 respectively. The number of unemployed totaled 81,000 in January-October 2010 that is 2.4% lower as compared with the same period in 2009. 1.3% drop was recorded in the monthly unemployment rate.
