. In November of this year a new jewelry factory will be opened in Armenia. It will function in the territory of the diamond polishing factory of the company "Diamond Company of Armenia". It has been already invested $1.5 million in the setting up of the enterprise. According to the president of the company " Diamond Company of Armenia" it is expected to have new and more serious investments. The setting up of the factory will let about 1000 people have jobs. The whole enterprise production will be exported. The agency "Noyan Tapan" informs that 35% of Armenian export is due to the polished diamonds and jewelry at the present.
