Israeli experts to help improve Armenia’s checkpointsNovember 24, 2010 - 16:37 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - As per instructions of the Armenian President, the RA State Revenue Committee continues works on introduction of a complex management of borders and improvement of checkpoints. A tender has been announced for implementation of works at Bagratashen, Bavra and Gogavan checkpoints, the Committee’s press service reported. To submit offers on risks revelation and improvement of the aforementioned checkpoints, a delegation of Israeli specialists has been invited to Armenia. “Israel has a wide experience in the complex management of borders and can assist in developing efficient ways for the checkpoints’ improvement,” said head of the Department for Servicing Taxpayers and Taxation Procedure at the Committee Karen Beglaryan. A representative of the Israeli delegation said for his part that similar visits allow better envisaging further actions on the site and boosting cooperation between the two countries in the field.
