EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby met with Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.

After the meeting, Semneby told the journalists that bilateral relations between the European Union and Azerbaijan, negotiation process on associative agreement, situation in region, solution to Nagorno Karabakh conflict, outcomes of the 3rd Caspian summit held in Baku were in the focus of attention at the meeting.

The special representative didn’t make any statement on Nagorno Karabakh conflict. “It’s a delicate moment for Karabakh issue. The co-chairs are in the region. The negotiations are underway. Continuation of negotiations on settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict is a positive aspect,” APA cited Semneby as saying.
