Armenian National Art Gallery lacks roomsDecember 2, 2010 - 14:26 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The building hosting the National Art Gallery of Armenia is insufficient for the purpose. “Currently, the building hosts the National Art Gallery, Museum of History, Museum of Oriental Art and Concert Hall. However, National Gallery should have its own premises,” director Paravon Mirzoyan told a news conference on December 2. “As we lack space, we sometimes have to use main halls for temporary exhibitions. For examples, Vardges Surenyants’ works are now displayed in 7 halls,” he said. Mirzoyan also added that the gallery needs a modern ventilation system.
