Armenia celebrates another victory at World Youth U16 Chess Olympiad

PanARMENIAN.Net - On December 2, Armenia’s youth team defeated Uzbekistan 3:1 in round 7 of the World Youth U16 Chess Olympiad in Burdur, Turkey.

Karen Grigoryan, Hovhannes Gabuzyanand and David Shahinyan won their games, while Robert Aghasaryan suffered the only defeat.

Armenian chess players top the standings with 23 points, followed by Russia (18 points).

Armenia will rival Turkmenistan-A in round 8.
