Armenia was officially announced the winner of the World Youth U16 Chess Olympiad which finished in Burdur, Turkey on December 4.

Securing the title prior to the last round of the Olympiad, young Armenian chess players tied their games with Turkey-White 2:2 to have the total of 30.5 points.
