A PROTEST ACTION AGAINST RECOGNITION OF THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE TOOK PLACE IN ANKARA
. The panic concerned with the European countries passing resolutions on recognition of the fact of the Armenian genocide in the Osmanian Empire continues. An action of mass protest against recognition of the genocide took place in Tadogan Square in Ankara. According to the information given by "Sabah" newspaper tens of thousands people took part in it. The newspaper informs there were also Azerbaijanians among the participants. In particular, a professor from Baku State University made a speech and assured the Turks that Armenians are going to raise territorial demands on Turkey. Formidable accusations were addressed to France and other countries, which had recognized the fact of the Armenian genocide.
