Commandos: Armenian President stopped defeatist process on KarabakhDecember 14, 2010 - 16:25 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Major general Arkady Ter-Tadevosyan (Commandos) said that there was no breakthrough fixed in the Nagorno Karabakh conflict settlement process during the OSCE summit in Astana. However, he emphasized that Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan stopped the defeatist process. “Baku’s attempts to consolidate its position have failed,” Ter-Tadevosyan stressed. He also called to strengthen ties with Diaspora to counterbalance Azerbaijan’s ongoing anti-Armenian propaganda. As to recognition of the Nagorno Karabakh Republic, he said that the Armenian National Assembly killed the bill, as it had no program on the issue.
