Gagik Khachatryan: owners of big businesses carried the main tax burden in 2010

In 2010, Armenian State Revenue Committee overperformed the plan for tax proceeds by AMD 20 billion.

As the head of the Committee Gagik Khachatryan told a news conference, summarizing the results of 2010, in current year, the volume of tax payments amounted to AMD 590 billion, exceeding 2009 index by AMD 70 billion.

Obligatory social payments plan was overperformed by AMD 500 million; dues amounted to AMD 105 billion, exceeding last year’s results by AMD 2,5 billion.

As the head of the Committee noted, budget revenues were provided through the efforts of major taxpayers, with owners of big businesses carrying the main tax burden.
