  Inflation rate increased 9,4% in Dec. 2010 compared to Dec. 2009 January 7, 2011 - 12:15 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - 1,8% inflation was registered in Armenia in December 2010 compared to November. As reported by the National Statistical Service, the inflation rate was conditioned by the 3,4% rise in prices for food items (including alcoholic beverages and tobacco). At that, prices for nonfoods went up 0,1% in the reporting period. The index of consumer prices in December 2010 compared to the same period in 2009 totaled 109,4%.
