Virginia Foxx: Armenian Genocide resolution not to come on agenda for two years

PanARMENIAN.Net - U.S. Representative Virginia Foxx (R - NC), a person close to John Boehner, who was elected the new speaker of the US House of Representatives, said that the Armenian Genocide resolution will not be brought to the House floor during the next two years.

Foxx, whose son-in-law is a Turk supported Turkey during the previous discussions of the Armenian Genocide issue, Hurriyet daily reported.

Vote on the H.Res.252 was blocked by former House speaker, democrat Nancy Pelosi, on December 23, 2010.
