RA President extends condolences to his Iranian counterpart on air crash

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan sent a letter of condolences to his Iranian counterpart Mahmoud Ahmadinejad on the air crash in Iran.

“I extend my deepest condolences to you, relatives of the dead and friendly people of Iran, wishing patience, strength and firmness,” reads the letter of the Armenian leader.

77 people were reported to be killed in the air crash in Iran on January 9 night. Due to heavy fog, the crew could not land the Iran Air-owned plane which was carrying 105 people from Tehran to Urmia.
