Armenians are trying to keep territorial claims on the scientific, political and public agenda, according to a Turkish scholar.

Savas Egilmez, who is the chairman of the so-called Association to Fight Against Baseless Genocide Allegations (ASIMED), is also worried that the heirs of the Armenian Genocide survivors seek ways to obtain Turkish citizenship.

“This is one the key points in Armenia and Diaspora’s strategy and the legal proceedings launched by Armenian lawyers in the U.S. is a part of this strategy, too,” he assures, Ermenihaber.am reports.
