Azerbaijani intelligentsia descends to level of journalists-misinformersJanuary 14, 2011 - 11:23 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Two Azerbaijani news agencies – Day.az and Vesti.az – published opinions of representatives of the Azerbaijani intelligentsia concerning the “Interrupted Song” film being shot in Moscow. Completely distorting the future film’s plot, the Azerbaijani news agencies instigated representatives of intelligentsia to make negative comments about the film. It becomes evident from the published articles that the news agencies questions led to certain answers. Unfortunately, being guided by misinformation of journalists-instigators, representatives of the Azerbaijani intelligentsia descended to the level of street offensive language towards creators of the “Interrupted Song”, spokesperson for the film Tigran Grigoryan said. “The film crew has to remind the Azerbaijani side once again that the “Interrupted Song” film features a psychological drama of two men, in which an Armenian and Azerbaijani, who find themselves in a deep pit, exclusively persist in their opinions concerning matters, which present interest for the two nations,” the film crew reported. It added that only former member of the Azerbaijani parliament, academician of the Eurasian academy of television and radio Anar Mamedhanov proved to be a man of sound mind, saying that he does not want to comment on the film, which he has not seen. The Interrupted Song film is being shot in Moscow due to funds of Armenians aged 21-30. The premiere screening of the film will take place late in May. The film will be screened in Russia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, U.S., France, Georgia, Turkey, India, etc. Arik Manukyan is the film director, while Ashot Poghosyan – producer. On January 18, Moscow will host presentation of the “Interrupted Song” film official website.
