16 PARTIES AND NGO-S SUBMITTED TO ARMENIAN AUTHORITIES THEIR CONCEPT ON KARABAKH SETTLEMENT
YEREVAN, May 23. /Mediamax/. 16 parties and NGO-s included in the "In Defense of Nagorno Karabakh Republic (NKR)" committee published today their concept on conflict's settlements addressed to the Armenian authorities.
Mediamax was informed today in the committee that it is particularly said in the document: "Armenian President must present to the whole world the fact that during the national-liberation struggle the Karabakh Armenians have not violated the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan and have acted and continue to act in accordance with norms of international law".
The document contains series of historical facts starting from 1921. The authors are convinced that in 1991 NKR has announced its independence on the territories, which have not been the part of present-day Republic of Azerbaijan.
"We remind that in 1992 the Supreme Council of Armenia has forbidden the authorities to sign any document which considers Karabakh as a part of Azerbaijan. So, we suggest to transfer the settlement to the legal field and to base on this concept during the negotiations at all levels," the document says.
The statement is signed by the Democratic Party, "Constitutional Right" Union and other parties and NGO-s. --0--
