Grigol Vashadze: Georgia has always played active role in Armenia-Azerbaijan dialogue

Georgian Foreign Minister Grigol Vashadze said that Georgia has always played an active role in the dialogue between Armenia and Azerbaijan and is interested in the soonest settlement of the Karabakh conflict.

"We – the three South Caucasian countries – should demonstrate unity, display economic activity and plan economic development to integrate into European structures," the Georgian Minister said.

According to Vashadze, South Caucasus is a zone of peace, stability and cooperation.

"In reality, the three countries have lost a good deal of time. And currently we need to face reality and conceive that it is necessary to solve the conflict based on norms of the international law," 1news.az quoted Vashadze as saying.
