Armenia’s PSRC to help develop competition at IP services market

PanARMENIAN.Net - In 2011, Armenia’s Public Services Regulatory Committee (PSRC) will adopt legislative bills, regulating local and foreign investments in telecommunications sphere, also promoting the operators’ joint use of the fixed telecommunication network infrastructure to be constructed in the framework of WB crediting program, according to PSRC 2011 Program.

Steps will be taken to develop competition at IP services market through creating favorable legislative environment for providers of internet services, which will positively influence the quality of services and retail tariffs.

Expansion of access to broadband internet in Armenia will be in the focus of PSRC 2011 Program.
