Pogroms in Baku proved once again that NKR can never make part of Azerbaijan

Javakheti Diaspora of Russia disseminated a statement, saying that the Armenian pogroms in Baku are continuation of the Armenian Genocide, which started early in the 20th century.

“After numerous attempts, the Armenian Genocide was perpetrated on the entire territory of Azerbaijan late in 80s. It was an immediate and logical continuation of the Armenian massacres in February 1988 in Sumgait – another Azerbaijani town, which was reputed to be an “international” one,” reads the statement.

It goes on saying that the unpunished evil repeated, gaining larger scales.

According to the statement, the Armenian cause was solved through a tested Turkish instrument – Genocide – with the connivance of the Soviet authorities, tacit consent of the Azerbaijani SSR leadership and through its participation.

Authors of the statement note that the Armenian pogroms in Baku are one of the most convincing arguments for the fact that Nagorno Karabakh cannot make a part of Azerbaijan. The atrocities towards Armenians, which were regularly organized by the Azerbaijani authorities throughout the 20th century, again prove the rightness of the Karabakh nation, which defended its freedom and rights.
