Arno Babajanian - a world of Armenian musicJanuary 21, 2011 - 09:25 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - January 21, 2011 marks the 90th birth anniversary of prominent composer Arno Babajanian, who created a separate wonderful world of Armenian music. A graduate of Moscow conservatory, Babajanian started a career of composer. The first jazz music for a soviet movie was composed by him. “Song of the First Love” and “A Bride from the North” movies would never be so popular without his music. During the last years of his life, Babajanian was seriously ill. He passed away on November 11, 1983.
