“The conversations with His Holiness Karekin II proceeded in the atmosphere of mutual understanding and Christian love,” the head of the Russian Orthodox Church said when addressing the Assembly of Hierarchs.

“I consecrated the foundation of the Church of Exaltation of the Cross in Yerevan and signed a joint declaration on future cooperation,” he said, patriarchia.ru reported.
