Egyptian government: let Turkey not interfere in our domestic affairs

The government of Egypt has strictly reacted to statements of the Turkish President and Prime Minister with respect to prevention of bloody events in Egypt.

“We regret that Turkey interferes in domestic affairs of Egypt. Let each country mind its own business,” the Egyptian government said.

On February 1, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan urged the Egyptian government to satisfy its people's demands and restore peace and stability.
