Upon his arrival in Baku, OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chair Bernard Fassier said that the mediators try to reconcile basic principles for the Karabakh conflict settlement.

The diplomat refrained from commenting on the visit, which is still in progress.

“In Armenia we met with the President, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Defense Minister. In Baku we are going to meet with the Azerbaijani President, foreign and defense ministers,” Novosti Azerbaijan quoted Fassier as saying.

On February 9, the mediators were in Yerevan. The OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs did not visit Nagorno Karabakh due to bad weather conditions.
